Dreams School moved into high gear in 2018, taking on the scale of an international education project that Kiabiers can contribute to so that children can live their dreams of schools for a brighter future.
The Dream School Sylhet is home to 400 children aged 6 to 17 in partnership with the NGO FIVDB. Kiabi’s support has helped train the teaching staff, finance renovation work (thanks to the profits from the sale of the Dreams School collections at Kiabi), as well as provide scholarships for the most disadvantaged families. The Dreams School Ashulia was launched in partnership with the NGO HOPE World Wide, to promote the professional training of 400 young women in the textile industry, English and computer skills.
“The pilot experiment conducted in these two establishments in the north-east of Bangladesh has laid the foundations for our collaboration with other schools and NGOs in countries where Kiabi is present and where education is a major issue”, explains Olivier, KIABI Life Leader.
