We were dreaming of a major event around an inclusive project to involve all our shops in Upper and Lower Normandy,” explains Pauline, Kiabi Tourville leader. The opportunity to meet Sophie, the Rouen delegate for Rêves, made it possible to turn our desire into reality.
The association’s project, which makes sick children’s dreams come true, has excited our teams and our customers, who participated massively in the donation drive we organised in April 2019. So much so that the funds destined for a hospital in Rouen were able to be dispatched to other hospital structures.
The meeting between the association and the Kiabi teams was a major factor in this. The representatives of Rêves were very present throughout the collection. All the shops played the game, including our affiliated partners. The result: 40,000 euros collected, plus 10,000 euros from Kiabi. A result that exceeds all the hopes of the organisers. “It’s great to see such a mobilisation of our teams and our customers”, says Pauline, who is also working on the project to set up a solidarity shop in Rouen in partnership with the Red Cross. A new collection for the benefit of Rêves was to be launched in April. It was cancelled because of the containment and the Covid epidemic.
