WORKSHOPS TO BUILD YOUR PROFESSIONAL PROJECT

The Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion (FACE) is offering jobseekers the opportunity to take part in coaching workshops as part of its “Atout FACE” scheme. The principle is to get local companies involved in the life of the city and the neighbourhood. Olivier, leader of the Kiabi Foundation, offered to bring the company into the loop to coach five jobseekers from Hem and the surrounding area.

Eleven workshops led or co-lead by Kiabers in the company’s premises in Hem took place from 2 to 20 December 2019 on topics related to the job search (CV, cover letter, recruitment interview, etc.). Each participant benefited from a visit to the company and a simulated interview.

If the objective for the candidates is a return to direct employment, the fact of getting back in the saddle, of resuming their research, of developing their network, of meeting professionals in companies, of opening up and regaining self-confidence is an excellent indicator of the success of the action,” says Flavien Leroy, project manager, who supervises FACE’s back-to-work schemes. Most of them are used to having to attend group workshops via Pôle Emploi or local missions, but they are rarely in contact with a company with such attentive ears to support them in their project. These workshops are the starting point for the support offered by FACE. Once all the stages of the job search have been marked out through the in-company workshops, each candidate is monitored individually.
