Supporting the education of visually impaired children is the ambition of this e-learning scheme implemented in the Madrid region in collaboration with the ONCE Foundation.
The Covid 19 pandemic has highlighted the need for distance learning. Kiabi decided to join forces with the ONCE Foundation by financing, through the sale of t-shirts from the Dream School collection, the equipment of a digital classroom for young visually impaired people in Spain.
A total of ten classrooms will be equipped with video-conferencing equipment, enabling 1,000 students to follow their lessons in a face-to-face and distance learning mix. The digital equipment will also be used for meetings with families to foster links with their children and to help them with their school learning.
